ABOUT

Sadarashi is a historic village.There are two temple, one of this temple's history is about five hundred years . Near about five or six years ago the monuments of tnis historic temple was destroyed due to an earthquake. Till now few can be seen. There three lower primary school,one higher secondary school. Near about 98 percent people are literate. Many of them are working in various part of the country in various field.There is a post office,one daily market name Girishganj,and there is a hospital with near about 30 seat capacity. There is a brisk industry also. That is why all the path of the village is made of brisk. So it is comfortable for journey in motor vehicle.It is near about 2.5 km west of city Karimganj.

HISTORY

The Village Sadarashi is the only Revenue Village of its surroundings in karimganj district from British period.The village pay taxes to the British Govt. thats why the village is also known as "Kar-dihi" in its surroundings (Kar means Tax and Dihi means paying or giving, thus the village Kardihi means Tax-paying village).

The Village Sadarashi is the Kerala of Karimganj.

The density of population is very high in this village about 1000 persons per sq. Km.

The sex-ratio is above 1000 means the females are more than males which is a good sign.

The sex-ratio is 1025, i.e., 1025 females in 1000 males.

The literacy rate of this village is near about 98 percent.

One of the interesting feature of the village is that the persons died in every year is more than the the persons born.

More of the villagers are service-man, business-man, and the rest are cultivators(artisans).

In Sadarashi the Renowned Higher Secondary School "Kushiarkul H S School" is situated which gives tremendous results every year and is the proud of this village. In HS Final 2011 the girl of Vill-Sadarashi, studying at Kushiarkul HS School named Sangomita Das, got highest marks in Advanced Bengali.

There are also three LP schools which are backbone of the higher students and giving best by their faculties.

There is a Private School named Saraswati Sisuniketan in this village.

There is also a School named Abhoy Bidhapid in Girisganj Bazar- which is also in surroundings of this village.

The Sadarashi is a very populus village in which many people came from nearest village to take the facilities available in this Reputed Village.

The population of Village Sadarashi is near about 1450 persons in 2011 Census, which is also same in 2001 Census.
